My journey with Swinerton began as a Project Engineer intern, where I had the opportunity to dive headfirst into the construction world. After meeting the Swinerton team at a career fair, I was drawn to their dynamic projects and vibrant company culture. During my internship, I worked alongside the Atlanta Special Projects team on a thrilling tenant improvement buildout, laying the foundation for my future endeavors. The following summer, I joined the Multifamily group full-time, eager to immerse myself in new challenges and opportunities.

A Legacy of Inspiration: Following in My Father’s Footsteps

Construction runs in my blood, with my dad dedicating his entire career to the industry. Witnessing his passion and commitment inspired me to carve my own path in construction. I’m drawn to the hands-on nature of building environments and our work’s tangible impact on communities.

In my current role as Assistant Project Manager, I wear many hats. From monitoring project finances and managing change orders to fostering subcontractor relationships and overseeing the project lifecycle, I’m deeply involved in every aspect of our projects. I believe in fostering a culture of collaboration and encouragement where every team member feels valued and supported.

Navigating the complexities of construction presented its fair share of challenges, especially as I transitioned from intern to full-time team member. One particular milestone I’m proud of is completing my first project from start to finish, Hearthside Lawrenceville. It was a journey filled with lessons and triumphs, paving the way for my continued growth in the multifamily sector.
